Since they really can't believe and refuse to believe that any person could have possibly died for their sins? I think that they do have a lower self esteem than Christians.

That is correct. Muslims are logical thinkers. Christianity is so ridiculous that it probably did happen and muslims were probably just not there when it happened. That's why I believe Jesus is our lord and savior.

See people, the thing about self-esteem is that those who have it don't really know it, so please don't make statements that imply otherwise.

that's right, maybe Christians can't make up our minds, but that doesn't mean that we're not right, since we probably are.

People generally develop "low self-esteem" when they're constantly referred to as somehow "less than" due to their beliefs or for who they are. If you were backed into a corner and told you were an idiot or otherwise just because someone tells you (however illogically or not) you're less than human because you don't think or act as THEY feel you should, you'd feel pretty phooey too.

I find it mind boggling how people love to sit online and bash other religions...But the "real fact" is that christians cant even make up their own mind about their religion...First they say Jesus is God. God is three i.e. trinity. God is one Jesus is son of God....o.k. o.k. yada yada....Then they say what ever applied to the new testaments do not apply to them now such as not eating pork e.t.c....Well the 10 commandments are in the old testament so since old is out does that make it o.k. to commit adultery, fornicate, steal and commit murder? You people are halarious. Christians think just the mere act of believing Jesus is a saviour is your "go straight to heaven" pass, so no one is accountable for their own actions, hey does that mean that all the child killers and molesters go straight to heaven also just for accepting Jesus as their personal savior? Girlie Girl, once you guys make sense of your own beliefs and "books" come and debate with others about what is real and what isnt....You know what they say about people that live in glass houses...wink wink :)
What a lame thing to say, that just because you cant make up your mind it doesnt mean your not right, so is the logic behind it....so are you going with what's behind door number 1, 2 or 3?! Your just grasping at straws! By the way can you tell the priest to lay their hands of the little boys, their causing them trauma and low esteem.

I agree with you on that, thats why should look into the "dying for everyone sins...wildcard"

The original sin:
Christianity:
All of humanity has inherited the sin of Adam. Only the death of the sinless offspring of God could erase this sin. No one is born clean, no matter if his life is only for a single day. Only baptism and faith in the death of Jesus can save one from this destiny.
Islam:
There is no such thing. Humanity is created by God destined for heaven unless they chose to disobey Him and refuse His mercy. God can very trivially and effortlessly forgive the sins of all of Humanity no matter if they were to fill the lofty regions of the sky. Such a matter would be trivial and inconsequential for Him since He has already done much more than that such as creating everything we can ever see, hear or imagine. He loves to bestow His mercy and forgiveness on His creation and rewards the most trivial acts with the most tremendous rewards. In order to achieve God's reward one must have faith as well as works .

This is not a question on low self-esteem. They are proud in believing that each soul shall bear its own burden. No one CAN carry the sins of another. That is the esteemed belief in that Faith and on this basis, some of them publicly hold the Christians in their low-esteem. The wise among them say," Let your belief be dear to you, let ours be dear to us".

Unfortunately most uneducated people have vary low self esteem, and most Muslims come under that category, and not to say that a lot of Christians do to, If and I say If all religious people were well educated today, religion would be at the bottom of the list when it comes to personal priorities, regarding their religious beliefs, one must remember you can lead a horse to water but you can not make him drink, but the uneducated human can be lead to water and made to drink.

I don't believe that because Christ died, that all of mankind's sins were wiped clean. Doesn't mean I have low self-esteem, just means I don't have the same belief as you.

Your words are just oozing Christian love. I'm sure God is very happy about what you wrote. For your information, I don't have low self-esteem. I have faith in my belief and your choice of words are leading me to believe that you are having doubts in yours. However, that's just what I "think."

Do Christians have a low self esteem to assume that they are unable to do good without a God?
Does it mean that without a God guiding their steps, they would actually be horrendous people without the ability to control themselves from killing and raping others?
