How many people here have fallen for someone who obviously isn't in love with them what did you do and how did it work out?

I feel in love with someone that obviously wasn't into me. It hurt and sometimes it still hurts. But we are friends and i don't mind that. He is a good friend to me and i am happy. I never have mentioned to him about my feelings towards him and perhaps never will again.

Its all about the chase (well for me it was all about the chase). You know those little hints back and forth and all those nice feelings when they are around. I am a player of the game just cause i like the chase LOL its a rush i keep doing it and i am married it is harmless and its a rush LOL well i dont fall in love with them it is more like lust not love!! completely different ballgame hun!!

Yes I've done that. Why, I don't know. People just have different priorities and aren't ready for the same things as others I guess. I came to a harsh realization, got my feelings hurt and got over it.

That is not love - it is a crush. Keep your options open and go out and meet someone that DOES want to be with you. There is no way you can make someone love you just because you want them to.

Three words for you....It's A Challenge...if everyone is honest it's happened to most of us....you live, love, and get your heart broken...just the facts of life...and eventually the heart does heal...and maybe you take away a little lesson from the heartbreak....

Well,I think that all of us have once experienced a situation like this one.When it happend to me I was badly in love with him but eventually fall out of love within a few months because of his regection.

It's hard when you love somebody who don't love you back but you may as well let go now so you can start to get over it because if they don't love now they never will

its cus if you love someone that doesn't love you back there is zero chance you will get your heart broken and he can never dump you i did it a ton and then i woke up and realized how lonely it was so i got out and dated tons or guys and met someone that was amazing and i dont know if it will turn out but i hope it does and if id doesn't oh well

my b/f just told me that he loves me, but he;s not in love with me and im trying to get the same answer that you are looking for. because i dont think that is fair to me .im still with him but im looking at this relationship way different then i was before
