I'm afraid it's an exercise plan you need there, not a diet one. Lots of sit ups is the best way to lose belly flab. A friend of mine does 50 to 100 sit ups every night before going to bed and has a lovely belly. I recommend doing a variety of different types of sit ups to tone the whole stomach area, or you'll end up with muscled bits and flabby bits, where you want a nice evenly muscled stomach. Just eat sensibly, but exercise is the key. Running burns fat from all over the body and is a good thing to do as well as the sits.

We are what we eat, but we are at least as much what we don't do. Calorie intakes in 1900 and 1950 were higher than they are now, we just don't use them up!

Eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and veg.

Take a healthy amount of exercise 30-40 minutes of vigorous exercise per day 4-5 days a week. I hate to think what percentage of the UK population does that 2%? 5%?

I have seen hundreds of questions with this same pattern :- I am fat, tell me where on line I can get this super diet or herbal/dangerous/illegal drug that I hear will fix it for me in 10 minutes without the need for me to get off the couch!

No fixes pal , less in more out, its the only way.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

You cant just go on a diet to lose the flab around your belly...you have to tone it up. That involves more working out. I suggest the gym and lots of sit up and crunches. The more the merrier. For eating, eat lots of fruits and veggies and cut down-not out-your carb intake...
Good luck, Jen

you need to eat sensibly all the time rather than trying to diet when it's already too late. try cutting down on bread, cheese and alcohol-i've found this really helps without making it too miserable! also start eating more fruit and veg etc and the usual things they recommend. to get rid of the flab though you will really need to exercise and use your stomach muscles. try sit ups at home in front of the telly as it doesnt seem too much of an effort as you're concentrating on something else. swimming is really good too. good luck!
