No this is a really bad idea. You may succeed in making her jealous but then you will enter the "friend zone". If you ever want to have a chance with this girl in the future you will not do this, rule of thumb number one in a girls relationship with her friends is never date a man that someone else had a relationship with. Leave it alone, find a date elsewhere. Maybe there are some other girls in the office who have eligible friends you can date. Good luck!

Heck, why not! At least you weren't dating her first.
On the other hand, did you try to pursue a relationship with her first? If so, it may get complicated when you start seeing one of her friends. If she was interested in you, she may get jealous of you and her friend, and that could mess up both relationships. Or if she becomes available, would you want to drop her friend to pursue her? Just know that you really shouldn't try to get with girls who are close friends with each other. It will probably end up bad for you!

If you ever want to hook up with this girl, then don't ask her. Once you date one of her friends, you're off-limits to her. Just pursue other women on your own - join clubs, hit the pubs, sign up for a rec class, go online - and wait for her relationship to end (or for you to get over her).

If you like the girl just wait until you see she might break up with the guy she is with and take the fall or you might ask but I feel that might not be a good idea maybe just be like a spy and see if any girl likes you and that you like her back and take the courage to ask her out.

tell her shes the kind of girl you would like to date and since she is taken would she have any friends she could introduce you to. That way she knows you like her and respect the fact she is taken but if she is not happy in her relationship it may make her think twice

pursue your own relationships, because if that day ever comes when the both of you are single, she won't date you because you were with one of her friends. girls have more scrupples than us guys when it comes to relationships.
