No matter if heaven is exactly what you picture it, wouldn't you eventually want to give Earth another try. I mean if there's nothing bad in heaven, wouldn't you get bored of perfect ice cream sundaes, endless summers, girls with no bras, and lambourghinis for everyone eventually, and miss the mystery of it all, falling in love, playing and losing only to make winning that much better.

And what if the Christians are right, it's going to be a bunch of Flanderseses up there, man give me Earth anyday.

I love how people with no idea of what heaven is like, if there even is one, are telling me that I don't have any idea. Ummmmm want me to tell you how a rocket ship works, or maybe the atomic weight of uranium, because i have lots of baseless speculation if you're interested.

You ideas of Life in the presence of God are interesting. Love is what it's all about a love so deep that being with that person is all consuming. Being asked to do things for Him (things He could do better and faster) will be like that small boy "working" on a project with his dad. His dad asking the boy to hammer in the last nail... If you don't remember that feeling.. I DO.. Not much in life has been better that those days. There is far more going on there than you can imagine. Come on take the hand of Jesus Christ let Him bring you into real joy... Jim

Very boring. I look forward to new things happening in my life... even those things that I may later regret. At the very least I'll learn something from the experience. Heaven sounds like everyone sitting around talking about how wonderful it all is... but never doing anything. Heh, even when I was a Christian I didn't believe in the "Heaven" bit.

My friend, unfortunately for everyone on earth there is no way to truly describe what heaven will be like, there's just no way to describe perfection when all that we experience here on earth is unwhole and imperfect. In the Bible it says that God will create a new heaven and a new earth, those that have accepted Jesus Christ into their lives will live with God in this new earth. Its not going to be all clouds and angels playing harps, we will be living for eternity with God the way he had first intended us to. Think about it, no pain, no hate or anger, we will live in peace without suffering and will experience Gods amazing love firsthand.

Sounds downright unpleasant, actually.

My understanding, having grown up Christian, is that we would be singing God's praises for eternity. I don't think i'd even like having my nose wedged up God's crack. And the Bible makes it clear that there will be no whoopie (Mark 12:25). In other words, my reward for kissing God's butt and not doing "it" will be to kiss God's butt forever, and never do "it" ever. The Islamic heaven isn't much of an improvement: 72 virgins, all with zero experience (by definition), one use only (by definition), to last for all eternity.

Well no actually. Heaven is a place..like earth is a place. Are you bored of living on earth too?

Your mind is so earthbound, you have even lost the ability to imagine a life like heaven.

Open up your heart a little.

Maybe heaven is better than all of that. I mean, simply a place where you get tons of pleasures, doesn't sound all that great of a heaven when you think about it. So maybe there is more, which really makes it something worth getting to.

There is no time or space in heaven so you get to experience all of eternity at the same time. Don't try to humanize God

i wish heaven is almost a good sized techno club. while youre merely coming up and your standard dj is enjoying your standard music. and you by no skill come down. and you merely get to tug shapes for eternity.
