Why won't Microsoft Access allow me to import currency over $999.99.?

I have the field formatted as currency. Access kicks out any value over $999.99. I don't think that that is the limit for Access.

There is no place in the properties where it shows a cap such as $1000.00 limit

Check the properties of the field. Do you have it limited in characters or does it have a currency format that limits to less than $1000?
