I take Effexor XR for depression and anxiety. It works really well for those conditions, but in my case, there's also a downside. I have so little anxiety that I can sometimes be a loose cannon when I'm ticked off! This isn't my first time taking it. Before, I took it in conjunction with Adderall for ADHD. When I took it before, I didn't have as much of a problem with anger, though. Perhaps the Adderall balanced the Effexor out.

I take Effexor and have never problems with anger. Effexor is a med to help that and depression and helps with anxiety.
I also take xanax for anxiety if I need too. It doesn't make sense to me that you say you have so little anxiety you can become a loose cannon. So maybe you need something for anxiety as well, I don't know much about Adderall but if that helped with the Effexor see about going back on that. One anti-depressant I did have horrible anger was Cymbalta that is a horrible drug.

Whoa. Effexor XR is meant for depression and anxiety. So if you have little anxiety. This could make you a little crazy.

Adderall is meant for ADD , but it has a tendency to stimulate your heart, stimulate your brain, and your mood.
Adderall can also relax you at the same time strangely.

However when they are combined, with your personal bodies reaction. It may work out just fine.
