My boyfriend told me that he is thinking about working for one of his ex-flings (that he still talks to on MySpace by the way).
It's a bar and he wants to work as a bouncer, once a week, for extra cash.
I stated to him that it makes me feel uncomfortable for a couple of reasons. One, he used to hook up with her and they still maintain communication with each other. For two, its at a bar, where there is a lot of crazy stuff happening. He is trying to get his life in order so, I am a little apprehensive about that in general. My woman's intuition is very strong and has never steered me wrong, and it is telling me "HECK NO!" I am wondering what to do. He says that it is only a job and that I have nothing to worry about. I think otherwise.

I don't think that it's a good idea for your b/f to work in that bar where his ex is working.

The communication that is already established between them and seeing each other every week would strengthen it further, a headache you don't need.

There are many places where your b/f can work at. I don't think you should let him go and work at that bar.

People might question why don't you trust your guy, I say if my guy cares enough about me, why would he go and work with the ex?

talk to him.

If you love him trust him...but if it make you still very uncomfortable then tell him that if he loves you...He should respect your feelings. There are others jobs were he could make some extra cash..Tell him you don't want your relationship to to get more apart than closer. Good Luck

Your intuition is probably right. If he is not willing to respect you by staying away from this other woman, you need to re-evaluate your relationship.
