On a Carnival Cruise, you have what's called Shore Excursions: things you coordinate from the Boat to do while on shore...so with that said: This is my second cruise, and on my first I went to Key West Fl, and Nassau Bahamas. @ Key West, we just got off the boat and got wasted, there were tons of bars and things to see, had a freaking blast, didn't do any excursions. At Nassau, we thought the same would be the case, but there wasn't as much "fun" at that port, an excursion would've been more ideal. So there lies my question, out of Montego Bay, Grand Cayman Islands, and Cozumel...do these destinations offer enough to do, or are they boring and I should book an excursion. I've heard Cozumel is kickass, so I guess I'm really asking about the first two.

Also I know that people say Nassau rocks, it was just where the boat ports...so if you've been on this particular cruise before...please respond! CHEERS!

Senior Frogs...Crazy bar!
Be careful in Montego Bay, I do not go ashore there. It is the Murder capitol of the world! Completely lawless.
Senior Frogs is just too kewel...
Good luck
Note: One would think the "Emperor" below, being a world traveler...could spell cozemel huh?

Grand Cayman has a pretty good clean beach and has a bar/restaurant right there at the beach. I forget the name but we took a mini bus to get there. They also have a marguritaville at both Montego Bay and Grand Cayman. The one at Montego bay had a slide off of the roof into the clear blue water. The port in Montego Bay really sucked for us. It was like a freight depot. I am not much of an excursion guy anyway. I like to sit by the pool and drink on the boat.

I have heard the same about montego. I have heard to just stick by your boat and not to go off into the city. Also I have heard to not take any cabs there.

But the other two places I have heard a lot of good things about. I know someone that just took this same exact cruise and they had a great time in the other two locations but said that montego was very sketchy.

from Montego Bay to Point Negril on the west end. Grand Cayman go watch the tortoises "do it".....and maybe a boat ride to Cayman Brac. Cozumel see the pyramids or just hit the beach in the daytime & the clubs at night.

I have been on that particular cruise and I enjoyed each port...I have been to Jamaica 43 times(Sandals resorts), Montego Bay, Negril, Ocho Rios, etc..and have never ever encountered one little bitty problem in any of the places....I liked the Caymans(the shell house, the turtle farm, Hell, etc...its a very nice island...I loved Cazumel...what a riot...you'll enjoy the hell out of this place.....good luck and BON VOYAGE!!!!!!

I agree. Senor Frogs in Cozumel is the place to go. I lost my camera there in 1999 because I was so wasted and almost missed the curfew to get back on the Carnival ship.

If you happen to find a camera there, please don't develop the film and contact me!

Before we went to Senor Frogs, we went on a Scuba trip. At the time, it was real fun. However, now being certified for Scuba, everything that they did wasn't very safe at all. Be careful!

Have fun!
