Salaam (Peace) to all.
From the standpoint of physics, a change in position over time is referred to as "velocity"; and, a change in velocity over time is referred to as "acceleration"; and, a change in "acceleration" over time is referred to as "control".
Control suggests Intelligence, and Control is a prerequisite for Order. Since we can see that we are part of a Supremely Ordered Universe, from the tiniest atom to the largest galaxy, how then can one argue against "Intelligent Design" when all the evidence supports the conclusion that Order cannot exist without INTELLIGENCE?

Oh...and by the way...criticising the question is an obvious means of avoiding the question. :o)
You may "answer" the question, or you may "avoid" it.

Please EXPLAIN how "Order" can exist without "Intelligence"...
Interesting how so many "scientific" minds balk at answering a scientific question.
Very interesting indeed...

Wow...9 swings, 9 misses.
That actually amounts to 3 outs...lol.
I'll check back later to see if anyone actually has the intellectual courage to actually ANSWER THE QUESTION.
(Walks away in disappointment...)

"Man is the only being with the ability to reason. Woman is not man. Woman do not have the ability to reason."
Anyone know what this fallacy is called ?
Anyway, order existing without intelligence. Everytime I drop something, it falls straight down. There are an infinite number of ways it could go, but it always goes down. This seems to be incredibly order. I could say "God must do it" or I could look up "gravity."
EDIT: I'm sorry that you are disappointed in our responses, but I doubt it is the fault of us answerers. I can see that you are clearly not reading with an open-mind.
What everyone is basically saying is:
A) You change the definition of control within your argument.
B) You assume control indicates intelligence, our universe is ordered, and control is a prerequisite to order.
C) If you'd really like to develop these ideas, email me to discuss, elevensixone@yahoo.com.

A brand new branch of physics .. born right here on R&S! (Where is that Nobel Committee when you need them?)
You have discovered that what we, in our naivetee, called the rate of change of acceleration is really "control." And your second revolutionary breaktrhough is that this "suggests intelligence."
Hmmm, this gives a game of marbles a whole new meaning, I mean what with all the changes in all those movements there must be at least a dozen little "intelligences" "controlling" the changes of acceleration.

i like it. it fairly is definitely non-committal, is mindless, would not positioned across any pertinent techniques, and makes him think of he's familiar with what he's speaking approximately. yet could you assert it in all circumstances? working example, in the experience that your boss stated, "that's happy with you if I fool around with your spouse, suitable?" mmmmm no........ or, "you know you're a real extraordinary guy or woman ." there it ought to paintings ok. or, "I only comprehend you're prepared to take a pay decrease." i could arise with an emergency option for circumstances whilst the choose would upward thrust up. :D lady M

You make it seem that all is peaches and cream. Just where is this "order" that you mentioned ?
" Control suggests intelligence " - - - way off. Control suggests power. Edie Ahmin, or however you spell it, was far from intelligent, but he was in complete control. The Yo-Yo in Iran has the intelligence of a bed bug, but he has control of the entire country.

Does not follow. Natural selection is the method by which information as to what works is accumulated, and what doesn't work is eliminated. It is a process for building intelligence that does not require intelligence a priori. For much more on this, see:

ORDER? WHAT ORDER? I don't see order I see CHAOS, and I most certainly do NOT observe "control" in anything scientific... heck even scientific experiments done under control are subject to chaos and a certain degree of error.

I'm with vinslave. Intelligence is not a prerequisite. Try again with a moral logical argument this time.

humans supposedly have intellegence, and they tend to create more chaos in the world
not to mention you're using symantics to argue a point, and making some pretty big assumptions.

Since gravity fields will cause acceleration, gravity must be INTELLIGENCE.
You have just proven that gravity is Allah. Congratulations!!!

Actually you have no evidence. Your saying you do doesn't make it so. If you have evidence present it.
