Cant find what form where I can income average, get my investment tax credit,
and cant find where I put in the dividend divestiture of AT & T. Can anybody help?

Publication 550 talks about Investment income and expenses.

Dividends go on Schedule B.

Income Averaging - Discontinued in 1986 (unless your a farmer or a fisherman)
Investment Tax Credit - Discontinued in 1986

The old income averaging is not available. There is a schedule J for farmers and fisherman.

Investment tax credit is a business term. If you have a business, you should have an accountant. I couldn't find anything on schedule C for it.

i looked in the guide, but i'm a trucker, not an accountant, so it makes no sense to me either. to show you i tried, here's there helpline-
1800 959 8281. automated 24/7. if you NEED a PERSON, their hrs are: mon-fri (no holiday) 8:15 am-5 pm.
from NOW till april 30 these hrs are extended till 10 pm.
they didn't mention THIS; all times shown are EST.
