Some of the signs of lying are the Face turned away, no eye contact, or looking to the left (fabricating information). Also wiping hands on trousers to get rid of sweat or fidgeting with hands these are some of the main signs that someone is lying but all people dont have body language when lying

depends upon the comfort level with that person. No of times that person has lied to you on that subject.

With every subsequent time the person gives lesser signals on the subject and the more the comfort level the more relaxed will be the body language.

Some of the identifiable signs are:

1. Eyes don't meet;
2. fidgeting with certain objects;
3. voice breaks

sometimes you'll find offensive signals and at that time you have to read just the opposite and if the comfort level is more, you also have the advantage of previous experience.

I used to be in the military. I skipped out on an extra duty with this long (but good!) lie. My boss said, "I know you are lying because when people lie they look to the left a lot".

I thought about it and I realized that when I lie or if I'm trying to think of something to say to stretch the truth, etc., I always look to the left while I'm trying to think of something to say or if I get put on the spot.

I've noticed this in other people as well.

The biggest 'tell' is if they avert their eyes...... or start making totally useless movements, as if to distract you from the fact that they can't look you in the eye.
