I sure support it. I served 20 years in the Marine Corps for your rights. However, I do have some pointers.

1. Make sure you leave your Mom's basement before setting it on fire.

2. Please be sure that you strike the match properly so as not to burn yourself.

3. Make sure you are on your own property.

4. Make sure the effigy is yours or someone else's that has given you prior permission.

5. Make sure that after you light it, you don't threaten anyone with it.

6. Make sure you get the proper permit if you are lighting it on public property.

7. After you are done, please be sure to pick up a gallon of milk on your way home.

If you follow these instructions, then you will probably be ok, unless you run into a Vietnam Vet who has PTSD and has a flashback while your are burning this thing.

As long as it's in the proper enviroment, I republican, pro-bush, pro-war, pro-family, support your constitutional right to such an action. But remember that when American Soliders take a bullet, or willingly put themselves in situations where they are more likly going to get killed than anything else, the last thing they are thinking, is man, I'm glad I can make this sacrifice so that way so guy can burn a statue of my Commander and Cheif.
So even though I support it, I doubt many soliders would.. I know one who definatly doesn't

Sure, as long as it's safe (ie, no fire hazard danger) and done according to local ordinances. Why limit it to Bush? Burn congress too in a big bonfire at the beach, and have Supreme Court Roman candles.

Of course I support it, but you need to realize that there are consequences to your actions--do you feel strongly enough to burn the effigy given the fact that you will be aiding our enemies in killing American citizens? The blood of American soldiers will be on your hands.

As repugnant as your suggestion is, the correct answer to your questions is "yes and no", which is the same answer to "Do the Democrats/liberals support my right to beat the snot out of anyone that fails to support my government's efforts here and abroad?"

But it also begs the question, what are you trying to effect by doing so?

I don't care what you do as long as you don't say anything against the troops.

That is what they fight for - I was madder at the dixie chicks but hubby said they have the right to say whatever. He's active duty.

By the way - we're pro Bush, pro being in Iraq....

Yes i do! But i would again remind you that one man is not the cause of all of these issues. I would ask you to review ALL of our elected officials and determine if they are working in the best interests of all Americans.
