How do you know when your boyfriend wants to call it quits?

3) After you talk to him and find out that he's ready to end it.

Personally I would go with number three because you never know. Maybe he is feeling confused and wondering whether you want to end it. Talk to him and see if there is a way to get past the problem. If not then it wasn't meant to be. You don't need a boyfriend anyway.

There are lots of signs of ending a relationship, the real question you need to ask is how do know what they are. Guys are simple creatures and most times want one thing. I know nothing of your particular situation and gonna go on a gut shot answer here. Look for signs like showing you less attention, shortened conversations, the lack of touch (touching is a very strong relationship tool), the feeling that you are a stranger. There are many others but these are some general signs that most would use not knowing full details of the arrangement.

he'll alway seem like he's in a bad mood when he's around, and he'll pick on you about things that are really stupid.
he'll pretty much just be a total jerk and be impossible to tolerate, men aren't too good at being discreet.
