Well in truth Mc Coist never won the golden boot,it wasn't held between 1990-91 to1996-97.
in the years Mc Coist "won" the boot he scored 34 goals in both seasons 91-92 and 92-93. but Otar Korgalidze who played for guria lanchkuti in GEORGIA scored 40 goals in 91-92.
Merab Megreladze scored 41 goals for samgurali tshkaltubo in 92-93 season.so mc coist didn't win it any time.

from 1991 till 1996 there was no award mccoist was top scorer 1991-1992(34goals) 1992-1993 (34goals) only British player to get it was Ian rush
