I work in a really, really isolated place - there's no one in my department right now and that's more the norm than anything. If I have no motivation to do the boring tasks I have than my mind will wander and I'll go into a depression. Can you relate?

Oh I can relate my self to your situation. I have been in that situation before. This computer has been a great saver for a lot of people a way for therapy and release their tensions, but do not believe everything you read or do not just rely on the computer to satisfy your need. If that gets really bad, change your job if you can! Depression is not a great thing to deal with. Work in a field where you can enjoy your life much more. Good luck

Yes, that is normal. However if you are feeling depressed you may need to do something other than use this website for sanity. I was isolated for a couple of years and it put me into a deep depression. I did not know it at the time but the psychiatrist I saw pointed it out. I am not saying that you will become clinically depressed as I did, but please work on getting out more after you leave work.

Good luck to you.
