I the girl i likei told her that i love her and she said that she loved me but does not want to hook up because she likes someone else. what do i do?

Prove yourself to her. Make yourself more valuable.
I was once in a similar situation and asked the guy who was the "underdog" (for lack of a better term) what would make him a better catch and he said "Look, if I were a girl I'd go for the other guy myself" ... his lack of confidence was the biggest turnoff and the reason I did go for the other guy. If a girl is acting the way she is now toward you than she truly hasn't made a choice.

Ask her the definition of love she claims to be in with you, maybe her love for you is different from the way valentines do.
You can't love two people that way after all.
Confront her and you'll know. Be good friends if you can control your feelings.
Anyway, if she is not the one, you'll find one soon.

See the difference? It shouldn't be a tough decision for this girl. Any blind person can see the obvious choice.
Maybe its an excuse because she doesn't know how to express what shes feeling for you right now.

she doesnt know what love is, if she does she probably loves you as a friend. yes love sucks because of the situtation it brings you into. move on. if she likes some ones she isnt worth it.

maybe the love she was talking about is in a friend kind of way.....or maybe she hasnt moved on from her last relationship or something. talk to her.
