He seems to have the ability to get the biggest rise. And from very intelligent people. He seems to be able to get them out of the woodwork.

Yes. He's also got a very good sense of humor...and he's Anglican not Catholic.

I find Father K to be sincere and knowledgeable. Although I disagree with some of the Catholic beliefs, I find that I have much in common with him on many religious and social issues.
