truth is verifyable and opinion is not

Truths have a sound reasoning behind and they can be largely against what majority thinks. Opinion mostly comes from prejudices. If I think something is the truth I don't have problem in presenting to public scrutiny. If it stands the test of a good, sound and reasoned dialog, it is the truth, otherwise it was just an opinion.
p.s. scientific truth should be falsifiable and not verifiable (see Popper)

Truth is:

1. UNIVERSAL AND ETERNAL: In relation to us, sky is always above, regardless of the rotation of Earth and 1 + 1 = 2. This has always been, is, and will always bee the same, regardless of the angle you use for looking at the truth.

2. IRRELATIVE: Truth needs not to be interdependent. Truth stands by itself and does not depend on other facts.

3. UNJUSTIFIABLE: indefensible; proper, warrantable, right. It needs not to be proved. If you test the truth, the conclusion is always the same; it is truthful.

4. NOT ARGUMENTAL: Plain, obvious, no two sane persons would argue about it.

Opinion is:

1. PERSONAL AND PERIODICAL: As it is what we think; may be backed up with proofs or facts, however the proof or facts may still be argumentative. In addition, opinion may prevail today, but not always.

2. RELATIVE: It is mine, not necessarily yours, too.

3. JUSIFIABLE: Defensible as you may need to prove your opinion in order to convince someone.

4. ARGUMENTATIVE: People can be of two different opinions regarding the same issue because we look at the issue from different angle; therefore, our opinion may materialize differently.

The above explain the difference in our world as we know it. Opinion of people who talk about other world and dimensions is not relative.

Truth has fact to back it up.

Opinion is only what I believe.

To present something as truth, you must give proof that it is truth. But for an opinion, you just have to say "Well, this is what I think..."

When one is a true believer of God, His word the Bible is the textbook for learning. We can all have opinions, but when talking about the truth from the Bible, then that is where we go to find it. We have to study, study, not just take someones word. The Bible says we are to speak as the oracles of God. So we had better know what we are talking about.

Did you mean fact and Opinion? Truth, I thought, is an evolving concept and until the evolution is complete who could know the Truth?
