I beleive that there is a creator. And that all the lessons in life can be found through nature (the things that he/she created). I believe that the information to please the creator is found inside of every person. ex. You naturally have a guilty feeling when you do something hurtful to someone. Therefore you know that what you did was wrong and you don't need to do it again. I have not allowed much outside influence in my thinking. This is just what makes sense to me. Of course the culture and society that I've grown up in must of influenced me, but I'm a skeptic so I'm not easily influenced. I believe in "karma" or atleast that things come back around. I pray to God each night just to breifly say how greatful I am for the oppurtunity to make the best of my life. I don't think its right to ask God for things, I think that if you want something to change you make it change and if you are doing good deeds and helping and respecting the people around you God will help you.

~~~ Blue Collar,,,,, Don't try to Pigeon Hole yourself,,, but if you must,,,, A Pragmatist or Freethinker who believes in living The Golden Rule,,, and a Higher Conciousness. ~ I give you an excerpt from The Desiderata by Max Ehrmann in 1927, ",,,, You are a child of the universe. No less than the trees and the stars, you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, the universe is unfolding as it should." Try some Anonymous Altruism and you will sow great seeds of Positive Karma,,,, but only if one is Sincere in their offering.
By your first sentence, "I believe that there is a creator", you can't really be an agnostic (one who believes that the existence or non-existence of a creator is unknowable) nor atheist (one who does not believe in a creator). You'd certainly be a theist (one who believes in a creator). If you believe that this creator created the world but then pretty much lets us go about our business without any real concern or intervention, then that would make you a deist. Gnosticism might also apply, so I'd suggest you read up on that too.
Neither. Atheists outright say there is no god.
Agnostics say that we don't truly know one way or another (which is my stance).
You are, at the very least, a theist. You profess a belief in god, and you pray to it. But, without more detail it's hard to say if you're a Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, or can even be said to be part of an organized religion.
You’re either a pantheist or deist. If you think of God as a force of nature, you’re a pantheist (lie Roman Stoics.) If you think of God as jump-starting the universe long ago but it runs by the laws of physics and biology ever since, then you’re a deist (like Thomas Jefferson). If you think of God as perfect being whose influence is solely by inspiration then you believe in a type of God similar to Aristotle’s.
The wonderful thing about classifying and classification is that anything can be classified, even if you need to make up a new name for it.
Look under deism
At least you will be in good company.
Good for you friend... classify yourself whatever makes you happy, seriously. We are all empty of inherent existence so you can choose whatever you want to label yourself as... personally I'm an atheist Buddhist.
