I think it is but my friend says no. What do you think?

Don't just say it unless you mean it. Talk is cheap. Do you feel it in your heart? Then speak what your heart tells you. Otherwise what's the use?

It depends on the nature of your relationship. In my case, my current boyfriend and I were friends for a long time, and during our friendship we told each other we loved each other all the time, so to say it as a couple wasn't anything different. If you didn't know him before you were dating, then I think it's a case-by-case basis. You have to think it through: consider if love is really what you are feeling, because love is very important and vulnerable. If you do love him, then I am all about saying it. People don't say they love each other enough in this life-they are so concerned with remaining casual and free, when that means that so many people end up walking around the world thinking no one loves them!
So, I say, say it. And don't regret it for a moment, if you are really feeling it.

I definitely think that it depends on the people and the relationship. It definitely shouldn't be something that is forced, or something that you decide to say just because someone wants you to.

With the girlfriends I've had that I ended up saying that to it wasn't planned and wasn't after some predefined amount of time. It just came out when it felt right, when I knew i really felt it. One time it was after about 4-5 months, another time is was after about 4-5 weeks. Both were great relationships while they lasted. It all depends on how you really feel.

i don't think it is because my boyfriend told me he loves me when we were going out for 2 weeks and i told him about a month later but we still love each other after a year and three months. it doesn't matter how soon or how later as long as you mean it form the bottom of your heart

I think it might be. I told my bf I loved him, and I think it really freaked him out. He didn't feel the same way yet, and then broke up with me because he thought that he SHOULD be in love if I was.

Take it from me....wait and let him say it first. Girls almost ALWAYS fall first. But only the right guy can handle actually hearing that!

****Also if you are asking if it is too soon...it's TOO SOON!!!****

My friend Krissy and her now fiance did it in a weekend, starting fighting like a married couple 2 weeks into the relationship, and they're engaged 2 years down the track. Its crazy hey! but they're happy so its all good. Each to their own I think.

Yes, you may scare him and that goes for man of all ages. Just show him that you love him he will know, then as time passes then you can tell him the three words

It may or may not be. You can't go by timing- you have to judge it on how you two feel about each other. Just be sure he feels the same, too.

I think it is too soon. Give it some time before telling him how you feel.
