When I was in high school in physics class, we did an experiment where we had to drop an egg off of a building without it breaking. I cut open a foam football and put the egg in it and wrapped tape around it and it didn't break. Long story short use a foam football. Seriously.

Get a bottle of water with a big enough opening of top to put the eggs in, fill it all the way up with water and pad the top before you put the lid on so the eggs won't smash into the top( I did this as a competition in the Army for a cross country road march and it was a surprise event, we put the eggs in our camelback bladders and they didn't break)
If your not sure what a camelback is go to their website because they sell many varieties of their backpacks for civilian use and they are extremely handy for carrying gear and water during hikes

I used to put the eggs into plastic easer eggs, then place the easter eggs inside of a pair of thick wool winter socks (each egg in its own sock). Next soak each sock in water to help keep the eggs cool, tie the socks to the outide of the pack.
another idea is use a backpacking egg carrier from wal mart

You could precook them, like hard boiling them , then it doesn't matter.
If that's not allowed, try looking for a tube, or making one that will fit the eggs in snugly. make sure to pad some between each egg. Make sure the tube is thick enough to withstand getting banged about. Make sure it goes at the top of your backpack.

Just send him to a neighbor's house with $5 and a note pinned to his shirt explaining that since mommy gave up the good stuff she has to drink double of the cheap $hit, and is now too sick and drunk to color eggs with the kid.

In National and provincial parks in Canada we have to use REUSABLE CONTAINERS(thermos, insulated water bottle, tupperware in a cooler, etc) AND CRACK THE EGGS INTO THEM
can you hard boil them?(no garbage allowed into the parks) we also must put granola bars into reusable containers(the thought being you wont throw out tupperware but you will a wrapper)

Hard boiled eggs might be better. But if just two eggs I guess keep pressure off of them, and cushion.
