all the time. in my house "safe place" means lost.
or you keep something for years cause you think it might come in handy, then when you finally get round to throwing it away you need it a few days later?

Can't usually remember where the safe place is.
I do remember once i was sat at the table with a sandwhich and a glass of water full of paint off the brush. I went out to the loo, came back and both were gone. No sarnie and no glass of water. Explain that one. Never saw either again.
That kind of thing has happened many times.

I was going to visit my friend in Gloucester so I bought my train tickets very early for cheapness, got them said 'I must put them somewhere safe' and yes couldnt find them, rang the rail company up and of course the price had almost tripled. They wouldnt re-sell to me at original price even tho there would be no one sitting on the booked seats...
That was three years ago, and still cant find the ruddy things!

Yeah! I remember once a while back my friends were coming round, so for some reason I put my purse in the Minature Heroes tin that was in the kitchen.
I couldn't find it for AGES. I felt like such a dope when I went to get a chocolate one day.

On a daily basis. I can put something away and then the following day it's no where to be found! I swear there's an unnatural force moving things in my house, or I've got a memory like a fish!!

No-I think someone actually does come in and steal all our things that we put in a safe place!!Must find better places!
Seriously though-yeah,we do it on a daily basis-either that or we're developing Alzheimer's maybe?

It's the Spacial Monkeys. Those little guys that you see in the corner of your eye. They take note of where you put things, then when you're not looking, they put it somewhere else. They're planning on taking over the planet soon. I could let you know how and when it will start, but they'd have to kill me then.

I do this all the time. I have a little brother and always try to hide things and when I go back to look for it I can't find it.

Omg all the time. But then I am absentminded I guess..lol. I perhaps pick it up, and use it, perhaps when my memory is on vacation, and then when I expect to find it, it's Gone! :-)) It drives me nuts. And it usually happens when I desparately need something. Glad to know I am not alone... becoz I thought I was so getting old! :-))

i am forever doing it! i have misplaced so many things because of this my partner cracks up as he can never find anything and i cant remember where i put it! tell u one thing i must have a good safe place as even i cant remember where it is!!! x
