I'm asking this question, for a friend of mine that does not have a computer. Her Chihuahua had #3 in her first litter. All healthy with no problems.

Chihuahuas may have anywhere from 1 to 6 puppies. Ours had four each litter. I recommend Xrays at the vet so you know for sure exactly how many, It sure beats guessing, I'm telling you. The smaller the dog, the less she will have, usually.

Your math should be a touch off. domestic dogs, particularly small breed domestic dogs born one week untimely do not have the lungs to live on. I also discover it very effortless that the vet, understanding she had a previous c-section may enable her exertions from 2pm to 6pm. that's 4 hours and her uterus may have honestly ruptured. And x-ray may have shown a huge muddle (4 domestic dogs is a good sized muddle for a chihuahua), so it would not make experience that he may wait. He called you back at 9pm, a c-section does no longer take 3 hours. if you're telling the actuality then I recommend you discover out what truly befell. If that canines with a previous c-section worked for over 4 hours then that's obtrusive why her body gave out. You replied somebody else's question and suggested your canines survived basically superb.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aUNPj

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

It is basically impossible to say, but she will probably have 3 again, as this was her last #. A vet may be able to give you a better idea, as they could listen for heart beats.

Good luck with the birth, and try to encourage your friend to spay their dog. They are obviously not a proper breeder by the question you asked. There are so many unwanted dogs out there, please try to stop that problem

That's great she didn't have any problems with her first. My boxer just had her first litter and five of nine were dead. The vet said we did everything right there was something wrong with her horns that they didn't know about anyways...3-6 is average for chiuahua
