Keep in mind she knows we are broken up and she lives a few states away. And in a way i do still care for him.. So, what do you think?

No don't go. Remember an ex is an ex, even though her mother is nice, the amount of time and remember, and the converstation there isn't going to be nice. Plus, since itis a church function, all the adult, meaning the parents and relatives are there, and if your ex mom say that you are her son current girlfriend or something, you will be in a "situtation". So i would advise not to go.

Why would she invite you unless he is asking her too or she is nosey. If you haven't met her and have no designs on her offspring then no you should just leave well enough alone. Polity give her a no and leave it at that. If that church function is what you really want to do and she is the only place to stay then you might want to find new accommodations. Stay away from his family and remember Blood IS thicker than Water!

That would raise some red flags. Does she know that your are an EX? Her son may not have told her it was over between you two. I would be a bit careful before you go or you could bhe in for some awkward moments.

Maybe she really, really likes you. BUT, I wouldn't go. I would play it safe and have her come to MY TURF and see me. Invite her to YOUR place first. Then, if you like her, plan to go to her place next time. If she asks why you won't come there, just tell her that you are uncomfortable going away from home, and ask her if she can come HERE for a visit, first. If she does, then she is worth going to see. If she doesn't, then something was fishy there.

What's the worst that could happen? Bring someone with you for support.
