Contact lenses are shaped like a shallow bowl. One side sticks out while the other side is concave (meaning depression). The concave side is the one that should go against your eye to conform to its curvature.

concave side -----> ) <---convex side

If you put it in wrong, it will rub against the back of the eyelid, causing a lot of irritation and pain. If inserted correctly, it should be comfortable and rest flatly against the curvature of the eye.

Cheers!

If they are wrong side out,they hurt when you try to blink,or they will fall out. You will not be able to see out of it.If you hold your contact on your finger,it should look even all the way around,like a bowl.If it is upside down it will look uneven all the way around.

as you put on the lens, look closely at it on your finger. it should look like a cereal bowl with no rim on it. if the "bowl" appears to have a rim, then it's inside out. also, the lens feels really uncomfortable on your eye if you place it inside out, so you'll be able to tell pretty quickly.

It should be a smooth half circle, so to speak. If it appears to have a lip around the edge, it's inside out.

carry it on the top of twelve months pointer finger and if its shaped like a bowl (like it has sort of a flat backside) its interior out..it may desire to have numbers on it a million-4...carry it as much as a easy and it it says a million-2-3-4 its perfect yet while its backwards its incorrect

take it out and put it in a crease in your hand. Then bend your hand. If the lens bends in like a taco, then it is right side out. If it won't bend or pops out, then it was inside out.
