It's a bit difficult to tell what word that is since it's not written in romaji (the Roman alphabet) ...but I'm guessing that the word you wrote is actually two or three words put together.
1) If it's "mokuyou wa", it means "On Thursday,...." ( "Thursday" is "mokuyoubi" but you can cut off the "bi" sound when speaking)
2) If it's "mo kyou wa," it means "Well, today is..."

What you're asking is probably from a conversation, so they're not proper sentences. Well, I guess 1) could make sense as a sentence if it was a question. "Mokuyou wa?" could be "How about Thursday?"
