My flowergirl is going to be wearing ivory with gold trim, ring bearer black tuexdo with a lavendar bow tie, jr bridesmaid white dress, jr groomsmen black vest with lavendar shirt and black pants, bridesmaids are going to be wearing orchard(lavendar) and grape. The ushers are going to be wearing black and the groomsmen light gray of course with orchard and grape vests. My dress is diamond white. Do you think this will go good together or should the ushers wear gray as well?

The only person who should be wearing white is the bride and groom. The groom wears a black tux with white shirt and vest. The groomsmen wear black tux, white shirt and a vest the wedding color. The father of the bride and best man wear black tux, black vest and white shirt.

My flower girl wore a dress almost the same color as my bridesmaids.

But to each their own. I think lavender on men is kind of feminine.

You've got way too many colors going on there.

The only one wearing a white dress should be you. The flower girl should be in a lavendar dress. Her's, like the jr. bridesmaid can be of a slightly different shade or style of the dress that the other bridesmaids are wearing.

Lavendar, Orchid and Grape....too many shades of same color. You need to choose Lavendar for instance and a complimentary or contrasting color. Example: Lavendar and a pale yellow. Lavendar and ivory. Lavendar and Taupe. Lavendar and a darker shade of Blue.

The groom can have black tux with white shirt and lavender vest/handkerchief/bow tie and cumberbund. Best man can have tux and lavendar vest/handkerchief, tie and cumberbund.. The groosmen(all) should have black tux/suits with black vest, white shirts and lavender ties and handkerchiefs(Ringbearer can have the bowtie). Ushers(if that is their only duty) should be in nice black suits with lavendar ties or bowties.

Jr. Bridesmaid should not be wearing a white dress. It is not normally done. Otherwise, she competes with you. Why don't you let her wear a mauve pink or a very light lavender just a shade lighter than bridesmaids instead which would go very nicely with the orchid and grape. Flower girl should wear white with lavender or mauve pink sash on her dress. I do like gray tux's but I don't know if you should have black and gray. Why not two shades of gray instead. Also ring bearer should wear gray, black is too stark for a kid. Also groom should wear tails in charcoal grey or midnight black. Make grooms tux different than the rest. Good Luck

I think you've got a few too many colors going here. I would put the jr. bridesmaid in either the same color as the rest of the bridesmaids, or the same color as the flower girl--and I'm leaning towards the same color as bridesmaids. I would put the flower girl in the same color of white as you. If the ushers are wearing gray--then I'd probably use silver trim on the flower girls dress as well, it sounds like you've basically got cool and warm colors going here....try to keep them either all cool or all warm.

That sounds nice as long as the Jr. Bridesmaid is that little girl who dresses like you. i don't know what else a Jr. Bridesmaid is, except that. If a jr. Bridesmaid is just like all the other bridesmaids, then i would DEFINATLY consider changing her dress color, to, maybe the gold trim color of the flower girl would be a good color for the jr. bridesmaid.

It sounds beautiful. I would only change the ivory and white dresses. I would make them the same as the birdesmaids lavender, orchard, or grape. You should be the only one in white or ivory.

The jr. bridesmaid should match the bridesmaids.

It makes your life so much easier. wish i would have followed my own advice and i would have had the wedding of my dreams instead of the hillbilly wedding from hell. (i'm still married almost 5 years) but i wish i could redo the wedding
