i really want a boston terrier, i could get one for 250$ is that a good price..and r they good dogs?

That is a great price. Just be careful, are you getting a good deal because it is from a friend or a shelter? Or is is puppy milled. Make sure you know where it came from. Puppy mill dogs have a history of health problems due to inbreeding and over breeding and behavioural problems as they are not treated properly. Just make sure you do your research.

It sounds like a reasonable price. I have a yellow lab who was in the hundredS of dollars, I think his previous owner paid $500 for him.
I had two Boston Terriers as a kid and they were great dogs. One came from an abusive situation and he did bite my sister & I but after that, he was okay.. very weird. Some friends of ours have one now and he's a sweet little thing- 10 yrs old and still has the energy of a puppy! He's not a cuddler, though.

That is a great price. You should ask if there is a return policy and take the dog to the vet that day and get it checked out for any problems. Bostons are great dogs and very loyal. I have never owned one but just being around them shows how good they are. And how can you resist their cute little faces???

That is a great price, and let me tell you...Boston Terriers are absolutely fantastic companions. I have one that I got about nine months ago. She is wonderful with my cat, my other dogs and little kids. Not to mention I never have to put her on a leash, she stays right with me.
You will love a Boston...

That is a great bargain! IF the dog is healthy..Many of them are sold at discount because of off-set eyes,(don't buy, as it is symptom of brain problem, and only gets worse) or other health issues, but if your little one is healthy, I would say Go for it! Bosties are wonderful little dogs! So, clownish, up for any games, and remain cute for all their lives. They get along well with other dogs, cats and kids.
ONE caution!!! Do not feed any dog food with Corn, Soy or Beet-pulp, or your Bostie may GAS you out of the house!.They also commonly get 'hot spots' from being fed corn.

Sure it is a good price that is what rescues charge around me for any pure bred dog that is already over 3-4 years old.

I think they are nice dogs but I hope you are getting one from a rescue. That $250 dog sounds like one out of a newspaper ad. If it is then don't buy it. It will probably have a lot of health issues if it came from a BYB.

They can be very hyper and stubborn, have you tried talking to a group that has them? Yahoo has many groups just search the breed. Also have you thought about a rescue?
