No one can or will allow people to burn. That is mean. None of us here will burn animals so if we won't burn living animals then almighty God will not allow people to be burned. God is not that cruel. ( If there is a God)

You are what is called an 'agnostic' ... you don't 'believe' in a God, but you don't want to say that there is 'no god' ... and your question about "God" is a very good one ... and I think that you ARE RIGHT in saying 'God will not allow anyone to burn in Hell' ... because I think that is what 'being alive in this universe' is all about ... saving us ... ALL OF US ... from that 'evil not-life' ... and I also believe that what comes 'after we die' is SO VERY DIFFERENT from the life we have here on Earth now, that we can't really 'say' with any kind of 'knowledge' what it will be like 'in Heaven' ...
Try reading 'The Great Divorce' by C.S. Lewis. It's a sort of 'allegory' that tells 'the difference between Heaven and Hell' in 'story form' ... and the 'ideas' in it are 'profound' ... you'll see the whole concept of 'Heaven and Hell' in a different way after you read it ... and it's also just a 'very good story' that is told by a Grand Master of the art of storytelling.

Yes, you are. The bible does not teach a burning hell. Hell is the common grave of mankind. God is a God of love. What could any man do that would deserve to burn forever? Even Satan is going to be destroyed forever or no longer exist. That is the ultimate punishment. No change of living again. The second death. Fire in the bible is symbolic of complete destruction.

For the condition of the dead read Ecc. 9: 5, 6 & 10; John 5: 28 &29 ; Ro. 6:23; Rom. 6: 7

What I think is that God really doesn't want people to have to burn in hell. Which is why he so forgiving and is always willing to give us a second chance. Also I that is why there is a purgatory. So that people who aren't the best have a another chance to get into heaven. Again this is just what I think, but I believe that sometimes God has to send some people to hell, if they have really been super bad (like a serial killer). But however I think that God doesn't really enjoy doing that, but he was to if a certain person does bad things and never makes the effort to change.

You are absolutely wrong! If there were no need of Hell to separate sin from grace, why build it? Besides, God doesn't allow people to burn; we allow ourselves to burn through being convicted by the Word. We're TOLD in the Word what to do to escape Hell, yet some of us foolishly choose to disobey.

Yes, you are very correct. 1 John 4:8 says that God "IS" love. why would a loving God

a) eternally torment a person for sins committed during our brief lifetime

b) Condemn people to a burning torment when he condemned the ancient Israelites for following the rituals of the Pagan nations around them, which included making their children pass through the fire in sacrifice to the god Molek

Finally if Hell is the eternal damnation of the wicked, and Satan is in charge, why does Revelation 20:10 says that Satan himself will be thrown into "the lake of fire and sulfur"? It is simply a way of saying complete destruction from which there is no return.

Growing up CAtholic...thats all a kid worries about as he steals a lollipop from the 5 and dime. The Burning part...the devil part....why can't we just teach our kids not to"sin" because its just wrong...shouldn't that be enough.
The burning part has been around longer than the bible....and who's to say we are not all burning in hell right now...its just not as hot as we imagined it to be.

No. People are so arrogant that they refuse to accept the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and God's plan of Salvation that they condemn themselves to eternal torment. It is not God's will that any be lost.

Mark 16:16 - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Romans 14:23 - And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

2 Thessalonians 2:12 - That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

"burn in hell" is only an expression. Hell is an unfulfilling, unpleasant place or state of being. I think that God does not forgive all. I think an individual must repent and truly regret bad decisions, bad behavior etc. to be forgiven.

If there was a God he wouldn't allow the same to happen here on earth if your statement were true. How can he allow children to die of violence and disease? What sort of God is that?
