christians, what do you believe? i mean how do you think you are going to go to heaven. cause there is a lot of christians that believe different things.

I don't think I am going to heaven, I KNOW i am going to heaven. I believe that if you love the Lord and ask for forgiveness for your sins you will go to Heaven.

Yes, I am a Christian, and yes, almost everyone differs at least a little in their beliefs.

My personal belief is that I believe Jesus is the son of God, born to Mary. I believe that he came, lived, died on the cross, rose on the third day, and the he is at the right hand of the Lord, and willing to speak for me on my judgement day. I believe that the only way to eternal salvation is through this belief.

I believe that Christians are to love, not hate. I believe all people are equal, regardless of sex, race or sexual orientation, and should all be treated as equals.

And I do not believe only a certain religion or group are going to heaven, I don't think that just one group is "right", I think you have to do what's right for you. Most of my beliefs are founded strongly from what I've studied in the bible, and my personal convictions through prayer & studies.

As long as you believe in 1)God, 2)his Prophets, 3)Saints or Imams as we say, 4)resurrection day, and 5)give charities (either by money or being kind to the people around you), you are good to go!

Yes I am a christian, I believe by excepting God as my lord and savior and by doing what is right on earth is how I will get there.
I dont think we can be just saved and get there, we can not be of the world to go, and what I mean by "of the world" is out killing robbing harming others, lying cheating.....Greater is he that is in me, Than he that is in the world.... My Son is 18 and he will not date a girl that is not of his faith or a Christian.

If you are thinking that christians believe solely because they think it will get them into heaven than that is a huge misconception on your part. The principles and values are what are really important.

I try everyday to be one. It sure is tough though. Thank God that Jesus is forgiving though, otherwise I would be an abject failure.

The only way to heaven is to earn the grace of god. Only the father knows whose name is written in the book of life.

The reason you have imperfections is because of your sin. Sin simply means disobedience of God. Don't worry we all have sin, every man born on earth since the time of Adam all the way to the last child that will be born on this earth. For the Bible clearly states "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Rom. 3:23. Your problem is that you are seperated from God and you need to be brought back to him. God is holy and cannot tolerate or have fellowship with sin, nor can he allow sin into heaven. If you only sinned once in your life then you could not make it into heaven, you must be perfect in word, thought, and deed. That's a big problem for all of us, if it was left entirely up to us then none of us would be in heaven but would receive the just dues for our sins, death and hell. So how can you go to heaven? Two words, Jesus Christ. God saw man in its sinful state and realized they needed a saviour. So Almighty God left heaven and became the man Jesus Christ. There he lived a perfect life without sin and then shed his innocent blood on the cross for our sins. Jesus died for you. After he died he was burried and on the third day rose from the dead defeating death and hell. Then he accended into heaven where he is at the right hand of God the Father, being the mediator between sinful man and a holy God. Jesus did not shed his blood for nothing he shed it for you. When you ask Jesus to come into your heart as your Lord and saviour you receive him by faith and all your sins past, present, and future are forgiven. You are now a child of God because you believe in the gift God has given you through Christ Jesus and because you have become a child of God and your punishment for sin has already been paid for by God himself, you now will dwell with him forever here on earth and in heaven. That is how you get to heaven you believe what God has done for you here on earth through Jesus Christ. God does not only give you eternal life in heaven through Jesus Christ once you accept Christ he wants to be Lord or Master over every area in your life. He will guide and lead you, pick you up when you fall, and he will never leave you or forsake you. When you turn towards Jesus, you turn away from something your sin, this is called repentance. Those who truly believe in the Lord Jesus will want to serve him and you cannot serve him if you live in sin. So God sends the Holy Spirit in Jusus name to dwell in believers so they can live a rightous life before God. Once Jesus is the Lord of your life he will make you what he wants you to be and all these imperfections in your life will be worked out and you will have an eternal joy and peace in your life despite any troubles you may be going through now or later down the road. To receive this wonderful gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ all you have to do is tell God that you have sinned against him, that you are sorry and forsake your sins, and ask Jesus to come into your heart as your Lord and saviour because you believe in what he did for you on the cross. I pray with all my heart that if you have not done this you will do so today, remember if you die without Christ in your life, you will pay for your sins. There is nothing more important than your eternal destiny and the only way to heaven is through Jusus Christ alone, being good and religous will not get you to heaven.
