scream in pain

Then get cold water to cool you down

Then put some mild anti-inflamatory of the region if it possible

alternatively put butter around the hot area, it does make a difference. Ice may help to numb it down.

Then if it is severe see a doctor.

Then be carefull when drinking tea again

Apply running cold water immediately for at least fifteen minutes. If the scalding is serious with blistering or broken skin, do not attempt to remove clothing and seek medical advice.

If it is less serious, apply a dry dressing and keep an eye out for infection.

Stop being a woos and go make another one .......

Seriously go sit in a cold bath ............. if it starts blistering and swelling see GP straight away ....... keep it cool and UNCOVERED .... keeping it covered will make it sweat and cause more damage.

If you have done that I find it a tad weird you have stopped screaming long enough to ask the question.
