I don't mind passing on the message, but what I'm really curious about is how they got MY number.
* I got this number after we seperated if not after the
divorce was final.
* While we live in the same state - we live in different
towns and they know where she lives.
There are only two things I can think of as to how they got my number:
1) Obviously, someone gave them my number (possibly to avoid these calls?).
2) I rented their house off of them when they moved out of town. Assuming they even had her previous address - could they have traced the numbers for that address not realizing that the town they live in has a different prefix.
Just thought maybe someone on her may have worked for a collection agency and had some experience w/this. Any thoughts?

They've already removed my number (or so they said) from their computer.
I'm just curious how they got my phone number.

I've already been placed on the do not called registry - besides how does that stop bill collectors from calling you - they actually left the message to her (as if it was her house)?
