I've not spoken to my close female friend for 4 months as we got to close.I told her that I wanted no contact so that I could get over my feelings for her. SHE ONLY WANTED TO BE FRIENDS!
We met 3 WEEKS AGO at a friends party,we spoke a lot,but she still looked hurt+uncomfortable at times.
I asked her if I could add her as my friend on Facebook(via email)THATS ALL I ASKED,NOTHING ELSE.She wrote bck: asking how I am,what she done on her wkn and said I can add her "as a friend lol"
I said how I was and asked NO questions about herself-
SHE WROTE BACK AGAIN, saying I should be having fun with the ladies and to join her appreciation society!Wrote back saying I've been having fun wth other girls-too much fun!(which is the truth!)
She didn't reply-though I asked how her dancing is going-WHY???
I'm shocked and confused as she said via txt 4 weeks ago that the FRIENDSHIP IS OVER!!!Did she mean what she wrote in the txt???
Why she resume contact?

p.s. only want friendship-nothing more.I've gotten over her now(after another girl!).Only asking if this is positive in terms of FRIENDSHIP - not romanticly!
Also-resume contact: i.e. in asking how I am, when I just asked permission for me to add her as a friend.

well her responce asking how you are, that is something a friend would ask. as far as her getting upset when you commented on having fun with the ladies, it kind of sounds like she might of had feelings for you at one time, or now that she knows you are over her, she is realizing how she really felt. or ... she could just be one of those girls that needs to feel like every guy wants her or she hates them, stuck up would fit her personality to you now, and that one makes since with how she is treating you now. I think your friend ship is probably over, and probably for the better. She doesn't sound like a very nice person if this is how she reacts to you trying to be friends again.

Sounds to me like you upset her when you told her you said you wanted no contact with her, when u met up again obviously she was bit hurt and maybe felt a bit uncomfortable wondering if you had worked threw your feelings.If she had accepted your offer on face book then obviously she wants still to be friends with you, maybe when you told her you had feeling for her if threw her a little bit and made her think maybe her feelings for you could of been taken the wrong way and this confused her a bit. Give her some time maybe subtly let her know you have found someone else so she has no confusion over what your feeling are for her now and hopefully you can get your friendship back on track.

I don't think you are over her, or you would totally let go of her, and all this wouldn't bother you. So, you still like her! She is experiencing the old "I didn't want him, but I didn't want anyone else to either" feelings. The fact that you are seeing someone else MAKES her sit up and take notice of you, and say, "hmmmm. He isn't all that bad". Just take it slow. Visit with her, but don't rub it in that you are having too much fun with other women (that sounds made up). Just kick back and watch HER start chasing YOU now. Don't be too available for her. But, don't be too hard to get either. I think she IS interested in you.

Neither of you seem to know exactly what you want. Just do whatever both of you are comfortable with, no rules & regulations as to you are her friend or not, nor whether she is or is not yours. If you two can't make up your minds, who else can do that for you?

men and women are very complicated. i would just come straight out and ask her the questions... i mean really, what have you got to lose... it's a lot better than playing it out over and over again in your head, right?
