I posted a question a couple of days ago about my miniature schnauzer vomiting and having diarrhea. I took her to the vet and he gave her 2 shots and something in her mouth. I do not no what he gave her, except one of the medicines was for diarrhea. He told me to bring her back the next day and he repeated the same thing as before. She did not go to the bathroom any after I took her to the vet, and she finally pooped this morning. It actually seemed a little firmer than it has been, but still a little mushy. My concern now is she is not acting like herself. She isn't interested in playing and she does not want to eat. Should I be concerned?

I would contact the vet and see what his advice would be. Most vets can answer something like this over the phone. I would maybe try a different food. Sometimes dogs will assocaite being sick with the food, and won't eat what they have been eating. I learned this one from expereince. She may not be as playful due to being sick and also not eating. Try her on something different, contact the vet, and hopefullly is a few days you will have your normal dog back. Good Luck.

The medicine that they gave her could be making her feel bad. Call the vet and ask them if this is normal behavior after the meds.

I think your best bet would be to call the vets office, let them know what is going on and take it from there, Good Luck.

Call the vet, ask for advice and this time ask him what he gave her and about the side effects. Don't be afraid of asking and describe everything to him.

I would call the same vet back, explain the situation, and he will advise you, on whether he thinks, there may be a problem or not.

Hookworms. Take her to the vet. My dog just had them and she did the same thing
