Yesterday, I witnessed a lady get struck (hard!) by a car; she
may have lost her life!!

No kidding! I think cars should also look out for pedestrians though because I almost got hit crossing a cross walk!

Americans in the UK will always look the wrong way when crossing and will always be struck by a car, or sometimes a double decker bus.

Americans should not attempt to cross streets in the UK. Just stay in the airport while you're there. There are plenty of shops.

I agree just this morning while taking my High school daughter to school I saw kids going across the light rail tracks while the safety arms were coming down. Train was coming and they barely made it across. Almost gave me a heart attack.

It's a problem where I live...there are times I nearly hit someone because they just walked right out and didn't look AT ALL.
