Me and my girl have been together for a while. But she is so quiet, every time I ask her why is she so quiet she says that she is not. But every time she is with her best friend she won't shut up what is up with that?

She prob feels a little uncomfortable around you, maybe she can't think of something to say. I know i am like that with bf's i could like them a ton but when i get around them im quiter than a deadman. Give her some time as she gets to know you better you wont be able to get her to shut up.

I know this doesn't matter but please tell me her star sign. If you don't know then at least tell me when her birthday is. Now to the question at hand. Maybe she's quiet because she's afraid that she might say something stupid, or she's just shy. Just give her time, and when she's more comfortable around you she'll open up.

How long have you been together? Maybe she is afraid of being herself around you. You need to talk to her and find out if there is a deeper issue at hand or if the two of you can work things out.

im like that too, im a quiet person, except when around family and close friends. i dont know why its just the way i am, maybe thats the way she is too

she is probably shy. when girls get around there friends they feel so much more comfortable then just their boyfriend. try having a group get tigether like a study party or something to get to know her friends and her better. you'll have plenty to talk about then

she is probably still a little uncomfortable around you and of course when she's with her girl she cant stop talking but with you maybe she's shy like a school girl crush sort of thing maybe you should reassure her that she can be herself around you and open up than maybe she will.

Most likely she still doesn't feel comfortable around you..... try tellin her that she can tell you anything and you won't judge her... let her know that you really care for her and she will soon open up it just takes time

How is the communcation in your relationship? When she talks to you, do you criticize or constantly disagree? Is there trust in your relationship? Talk to her about communication in your relationship. As for her friend, we all have a close friend we talk to differently than our partner.
