Ok its not for me before you say anything! My friend met this guy on the net, they chatted for ages etc the same old.. they havent met face to face yet, he works as a lawyer, has his own firm (which is a definite not something he made up!) He has sent her 3 bankers drafts in total, 5k, then another 2? She has put the money in her account and has had no probs so far, and he said it is because he is in a situation that he can help her and knows it makes a difference to her. She said she asked what the catch was joking, and he said nothing I just want to help you??? I am worried that she is going to end up in debt if he wants this money back.

You don't get nothing for nothing, if you friend wants to fleece the guy, change her account, and phone number, its a sad world we live in.

how stupid is your "friend"..hehe...does she think he just hands out money to strangers out of the kindness of his heart..doesnt want anything in return..and he's a lawyer?..if he really does "want to make a difference"..then he would read to children at the hospital...donate money to charity,etc..honey..if it walks like a duck..and quacks like a duck..then its a duck
