Have a criminal record, will have to gain a Visa, before my arrival to the states- how long do they last for.... so many years? right?

All visas come with an expiration date at the bottom of the document with the exception of the multiple indefinite which has no expiration date.
Visas can be valid just for short as six months or as long as 4 years as in the case of a student visa.

The length of validity of US visas is based on reciprocity: that is, we give other countries' citizens what that other country gives Americans. For some nationalities it's as short as three months; the maximum is ten years.

No i've got not only a lot of human beings in strains i assume semi formal no - in all probability no longer problematical yet could be somewhat time ingesting and choose on stressful issues like photos or copies of different archives and so on
