go to petfinder.com they have tons of really good dogs in need of a home we found our puppy on that from a local dog shelter. We could not ask for a better pet. you can get dog of all ages there and they are all rescued dogs in need of a good home. usually the adoption fee is pretty inexpensive.

Try PETFINDER.COM.. there you can find almost any breed you want!!! Also try petstore, usually they have some adds right in the door. The petsmart by my house always have ads saying "FREE dogs to go home"

The lied animal shelter has dogs that are pretty cheap, or the Spca which is a no kill shelter.

Well,you can look in paper..Lots of people tired of there animal wants to get rid of them,most are free.Then you could go to shelter...Not free but cheaper than registered new pup.Or go on line....If you want one -- you don't have to look far..
