I have been using ProActive for the past several months and its not really working. I stopped wearing makeup and that has not helped either. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can use that actually worked for them? I also have acne on my back and chest.

My forehead, nose, and chin (T zone) is oily but the rest of my face is very dry.

Sounds like you might have a bad diet, so your body is basically clogging things from the inside.
Cut out pop and fatty foods, especially fast food, McDonald's employees aren't known for getting great skin from working there, so you won't by eating there.
Eat healthy, more whole grains and fruits and veggies. This will keep your body balanced. Drink LOTS of water, you hear supermodels talk about this all the time, to get great skin you need LOTS of water, at least 2L per day.
My last personal secret is a blackhead remover, which may take some time to get used to but I find it's worth it. It stops me from pinching my skin to get rid of acne, so I won't get those horrible red marks and scars. I'll find a link below to one, you can buy them at any big pharmacy, ask a beautician. Get one with double loops.
Best of luck.

ProActive doesn't necessarily work and you can buy the same stuff in stores (salicylic acid) for a fraction of the price. If you have a good washing regimen (washing skin twice a day, drying well) then you may have a type of acne that requires medication.
See your doctor or dermatologist.

Yea...cut a pod of garlic, crush it, & apply the juice over the acne. Do it twice a day, leaving it on for 15 min. They will vanish. To remove scars, put some lemon juice into some milk & let it setfer 10 min & then apply leaving on for 20 min. Drink 2 litres of water daily & dont apply any creams. Good Luck

hey hey
okay so basically you don't NEED to go to the doctor or anything??
ok so its the same for me with the t-zone thing
i have just started using clearasil ultra gel face wash and the rapid action treatment cream-also in the same range. they both really work.and its true..its been three days and my skin already looks and feels clearer! there arent very many spots left at all and those that are left arent sore or red red, or blackheds or white heds, ther jst small FLAT spots which means that you can put make up on them as well. what i do is this
1)splash warm water on mi face
2)pump the gel (facewash)out about two times and rub it in on myt-zone and jst brush overy the dry bits.
3) wash with warm water and dry GENTLY
4)Use the little tube of cream on the problem areas
do this every morning and night
((thats for the face))
Afterwards your skin will feel a little tight and itchy for about 20 mins but its a very small price to pay for gettin rid of ur spots
and as for your body you can get a body wash soap from tht range too and what i do for individual spots on my body is use the same cream as i use on my face it really works! i hope this helps
xx

your face is too dry because of you trying to wash it completely clean... You need to have moisture... So listen..k
Had the same problem... I kept getting it too... But you know what I used a lemon scrub from bath and body works and after wards you put this cream on to give your face moisture... It has Oat written on it... It works really good... Maybe apply one a week a mask from their its called neem and it works... I am serious and its all not that expensive...
the steps are wash your face take off all the dirt...
then Moisturize...
once a week apply a mask to remove oil and dead skin...
and you should start noticing that it works...

perhaps you should see a Doctor/Dermatologist. They could probably give you a pill or something that can cure your acne from the inside out.
