This is a question I deal with everyday. being a 5'10 260 man people are amazed when I reveal my weight. it all depends on your body fat/muscle ratio. I am 17 percent body fat, I have a 36 inch waist and a 51 inch chest. muscle is much heavier than fat, but according to military standards and the typical weight charts for my age, I am well above the "healthy" weight for a person of my height. so No 230 is not heavy, unless you are above 23-25% body fat. Not everyone is built to the skinny, bird chested image that magazines try and force on us

That really depends on your body fat percentage. "Heavy" is a relative term. Two guys that are the same dimension (6'2", 230 lbs) may be dramatically different in terms of health and fitness. This difference tends to be isolated in the percentage of body fat in the body. I encourage you to get yours checked (either at your doctor's office or at your local gym). Do some research on body fat percentages for men and determine what your goals are. Proper nutrition and a solid exercise plan can get you in the right direction. General rule for a medium frame is this. A man should weigh 106 at 5'0" and 6 lbs for every subsequent inch for an average. If you are 6'2", 14*6= 84lbs + 106lbs = 190 lbs. If you are muscular, your weight is probably fine. If not, you are possibly overweight, but not obese.

The BMI is one way to determine whether or not an adult is overweight. BMI assesses height and weight; muscle mass is not a part of the equation.

BMI is calculated by dividing a person's weight (in kilograms) by his or her height (in meters, squared). BMI can also be calculated by multiplying weight (in pounds) by 705, then dividing by height (in inches) twice.

The chart below shows examples of body mass indexes. The figure at which your height corresponds with your weight is your body mass index.

What Is a Healthy BMI?
A person with a BMI of 18.5 to 24.9 is considered to be at a healthy weight. A person with a BMI of 25-29.9 is considered to be overweight. A BMI over 30 is considered obese. A BMI of 40 or above indicates that a person is morbidly obese. This can increases a person's risk of death from any cause by 50%-150%.

It is.

Eat only when hungry and that too not more than three times a day. Include uncooked fruits and vegetables in ur food. Take nothing but water in between the meals.

Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This improves digestion besides activating ur brain telling u that u have had enough.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve ur ideal weight in a reasonable time period effortlessly.

Well, it depends. If you are muscular, then, you're not overweight, especially because you are pretty tall. However, if you weren't that muscular, I'd say you were just about the right weight, or a little heavier.
