In the old days people dated lots of people (non-sexually) before settling down into an exclusive relationship. Men would try to impress you, they would persue you, they would be thrilled just to hold or kiss you. There was a long slow period of secuction with little gurantee of success on his part.

I was with my man for 10 years and rewind back to when he was courting me is still the same. He is always romantic and lazy. I enjoyed it and enjoy the same love now. I even write poetry and letters to him and he sends me cards and gives the love talk even now. Its all with love. Not sex.

If a girl chooses her men right she can have it the old traditional way. There are old fashioned gentlemen out there who dont expect to get everything within 3 dates. Those guys are quite refreshing and fun to be with.
Having said that I will add that theres nothing wrong with a little sport fuching with a stranger or guy friend when the mood and the guy are right.
