Yes, I do. I'm glad I did, too, because the appliance I purchased turned out to be a lemon! There were so many issues with it, the repair price was more than the initial purchase price, so the seller issued a full refund and the warranty company gave me a merchandise card for the full amount, too. I purchased another appliance at the same store, and used my gift card there as well. I ended up getting my appliance for free, and had great satisfaction spending the gift card as well!
Yes, I think an extended warranty is well worth the price.

Very seldom. In my opinion, this is just a way to get more money for the product. The manufacturer warranty will cover most of the problems if something breaks in the first few days. The extended warranty is basically expensive insurance. The store charges a hefty fee and then counts on the buyer forgetting to use it or not feeling it's worth the bother or will want the latest model anyway. It really depends on the cost of the extended warranty. I have bought the extended warranty IF it's not too expensive and the product costs a lot. I think I've done this twice. Some stores charge 10% or the selling price. That means they expect 1 in 10 machines to fail. That's way too high.

No I don't, not at all. I do, however have a charge card that doubles the manufacture's warranty up to one years ( don't have the papers with me so I'm not 100% sure).

Generally no, but if you want to use it continously and unable to take required care, better go for extended warranty.

No they are a rip off, if the darn thing isn't good enough to sell and last they shouldn't be selling them.
