Guys I have been with never seem to care if I'm on my period. If we both want a quickie - they have no problem with it. I'm usually too worried and aware that I'm bleeding to enjoy myself. So, is it gross or natural??
Girls - what do you think? Do you do it?
Guys - does it really not make any difference? Would you do it?

One thing you should take into consideration is that during your menstrual cycle, your body is more prone to infections. Allowing foreign objects into your body during a period increases your chances of getting a yeast infection or even a urinary tract infection.
As for me, it's not a matter of "gross," but rather a matter of health.

Well I would say if at the time both of you just want a quickie then there is no problem !! just the cleaning up afterwards takes a bit longer !! I would not say it is gross but i agree with you about enjoying it so much because of that reason !!!
personally i would not do it during the time of a period because there are other things both of you can do to reach orgasm and are almost as pleasurable to you both !! periods are for a reason as you probably know !!
one consolation though you can not get pregnant if having sex during your period time !!
I think it is much better when a female is not having periods because your juices are more free flowing !!

OK Jen, I completely understand your lack of concentration during sex while on your cycle. Men don't mind it because it's a natural part of women and if the man doesn't mind then he actually has feelings for you because guys who don't and say it's nasty aren't actually men yet.
It can be very distracting but after you meet the right "Man" and you have intercourse during your cycle it will become a natural part of your sexual relationship and will become less distracting. Men's mind is not on the period part but the vaginal part and daydreaming so we actually think about it much more than men do.
As Mike said, "Keep a towel handy" preferably a second one underneath of you double folded and a wet one on the side with the dry one.
It'll all be ok. Just be safe as you said "all" the men, that worries me that you would have to many partners and that can become a problem.

There's nothing wrong with it, as long as you tell your partner before. It's really up to him to do it or not, do you agree?
I've done it two or three times, tops. He must not only know before, but there must be an armonic and trustful relationship between you two. I personally didn't care by the time I did it. As a matter of fact, it was a little adventurous to me. It's more difficult for girls because there's a conflict involved: they want to do it but they are not sure they should do it. Usually they ask her partner and if he agrees, they do it. You don't feel anything diff'rent, really.

First day of my period, maybe not, I'm usually feeling kinda bloated anyway, but it quickly tapers off for me and lasts 5 days and for the last two I barely bleed at all

I came close to doing that while on my period, but just before we did I explained to him that I was on my period and would be self-conscious about it, so I wouldn't enjoy it. He didn't seem to care that I was having "issues" as he calls it, but he respected my wishes and we didn't go through with it. So my guy didn't really seem to care but I think it's just nasty! Why not wait until you can enjoy yourself? <3

My husband has no problem with having sex while Im on my period. Although I too do not enjoy it mostly because of the "blood smell".

a guy will many times say "F- it, let's get it on!"
but the first day or two of bleeding is messy and not worth it in my opinion. better to wait till the flow is less.
but dont think its GROSSSS or anything. its normal and if you're in a loving relationship - who cares!

I HAVE done it and my partner doesn't mind at all if he is horny but I really don't like to that much because it gives me bad cramps later on sometimes and it can be very messy. Most guys don't even care though imo

I dont have much of an opinion either way. I just want to say about the last comment that it is not true that you cant get pregnant during your period. It is uncommon but not impossible, please do not take this advice, many girls have gotten pregnant during their periods!
