can you still buy a fax that uses thermal rolls. We have a Phillips magic 5 primo,,,,,,,the refill ink rolls cost a fortune and don't last long..........would we be better with a fax/printer/copier combined........thanks

Ours uses toner and it lasts quite a long time. Of course, once you have to replace the toner it costs money but using regular copy paper saves us as opposed to thermal paper. Plus thermal paper tends to fade, and being on rolls it curls up and is a general pain.

In any case, you can still get them, and they typically copy but I'm not sure of one that will act as a printer, too.
