Are there any side effects to this diet-good or bad??

Personally I think it's a waste of money. If you think about it, i's very close to a starvation diet, 2 shakes totaling 360 calories, 3 smalls snacks which are about 300 calories, and a light dinner which is about 500. That's barely above the very low calorie diet which is only supposed to be prescribed by doctors. And I don't know about you, but I've never seen it work and last for anyone. It's also not an easy out you still have to work out a lot and whatever snacks and meals you do have, still should be healthy, and i don't think many people do that. Also aside from mixing it up between chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla a diet like this gets very boring, very fast, and you may cause you to binge. If you've had succes with it go for it. But to me it's a waste of money, I'd rather spend it making my own healthy smoothies which i have hundreds of recipes for and can easily do something like peanut butter banana one day or mixed berry the next and then just eat vegetable and fruit and healthy meals. more variety keeps you losing weight longer and is more cost efficient. Def. not worth the diarreha and stretch marks.

I tried that stuff years ago. Besides being really nasty tasting. Slim Fast alone is not going to make you loose weight. In all honesty, if you were to drink a glass of water it would be better for you. I have tried most diets on the market. I found it more helpful to drink more water and eat smaller meals with more protein. I workout 3-4 times a week.
