Those guys ROCK. I was in NYC last year on a job and got completely lost. San Antonio has no subways.....I reached out to one of these guys, identified myself and he took me all over the city. Great department up there, all of them.

Your question is a little vague, but I'll try. The same as the rest of the NYPD. They are no longer a seperate entity....they just happen to work in the holes. I see a bunch of Transit guys on my way to post from time to time, and my Sgt. came from transit.
