Yes, it does make you higher. So does blowing it out your nose instead of your mouth.

Yes. I am an expert at this. There is nothing that gets me more annoyed than when somone takes a GIANT bong rip and blow it out instantly. The longer you hold it the higher you get. This is why gravity bongs work so well. you dont need a lot of pot and if you hold it in you can get high real quick.

Well, I know that the lack of oxygen to your brain will give you a high. I don't know if the THC actually is more affective. Drinking bong water gets you higher - but that's just gross.
