Not there....
The place of cleansing does not exist....
Christ did the cleansing for us on the cross. If purgatory were true, then the work of Christ at Calvary would be null and void.....

The bible is not in English, so obviously nowhere.
It's like homosexuality and divorce and remarriage, a concept that doesn't come from the Bible but Christians sweat over anyway.
Wiki:
Though the word "purgatory", like the word Trinity, does not appear in the Bible, Catholics and Orthodox find certain scriptural verses as supporting their belief in the purification of the dead, and thus incorporate this in their spirituality. Examples include principally 2Maccabees 12:38-46, Matthew 5:25-26, and 1Corinthians 3:13-15, and also Daniel 12:10, Zechariah 13:9, Malachi 3:2-3, Luke 12:47-48, Luke 12:58-59, 2Timothy 1:16-18, Revelation 21:27, and Hebrews 12:23.

OK, I'll play. The word is not there. We Catholics believe the idea is there just as much as The Trinity.
